If you're looking at "Oceanview" and "Oceanfront" properties (and thinking there's probably not much difference) THINK AGAIN!

Once you stay in a direct oceanfront unit, you will be spoiled for life! This property sits aproximately 15 feet from the ocean's edge.

There is a small secluded beach diagonally below our unit, perfect for quick swims and "backyard snorkeling". We also have sea

turtles feeding just below us in the early morning hours! The sound of the waves will relax you during the day ... rock you to sleep at night.

We face the Islands of Lanai and Molokai, and the sun sets in the middle. The tiki torches are lit just as the sun dips below the horizon.

If you're fortunate enough to be on Maui during a full moon ~ you're in for a treat. The moonlight will glisten like diamonds on the water.

Our home is located at 3959 Lower Honoapiilani Road, Maui, Hawaii 96761. We are at N. Kaanapali - in Honokowai - about midway

between Kaanapali and Kapalua. Our unit, 713 - in is building seven - not on the 7th floor. The unit is on the second floor with a unique design.

The first floor of this property goes partially underground, and the second floor is only 5 steps or "half-rise" off the ground. This elevation creates a wonderful view ... with easy access into the unit. We are in the very last building on the property, closest building to the small beach and cove, and closest to Hoyochi Nikko. The aerial photo on the 'Contact' page shows our exact location.

Kuleana is a very laid back, romantic and peaceful place. If you're looking for "hoppin" or "rockin" ... you're on the wrong Island. (try Oahu)

Maui is known for it's beauty, and serenity. Our home is a Honeymooner's delight ~ and a wonderful place to relax and reconnect with the

ones you love. You will enjoy your own piece of paradise staying with us at Kuleana 713. We have the West Side's LARGEST HEATED

POOL, wonderful BBQ GRILLS by the ocean's edge, a SEA LADDER that drops you into turquoise water, with AMAZING SUNSETS. We also

You'll find many types of accommodations on Maui, and many are quite pricey. Most of the large, high-end resorts charge somewhere between $350.00 and $650.00 per night for an oceanfront room. No doubt - they are all really lovely places - but that's just not affordable for everyone.

Our rates are $139.00 - $159.00 per night - for two guests.* Now that's affordable! * No matter how much you pay - or where you stay - it will

NOT be any closer to the water than our properties. Not even close. ;-) We have owned our Maui homes for several years, and we continue to offer

really fun oceanfront accommodations at a very affordable price. Our pricing is quite reasonable - and our pricing is firm - unless otherwise advertised on this website. Our only discounts are for stays of 21 nights or longer. Full pricing is listed on the rates & reservations page.

There are two main resort areas on Maui. The West Side includes Lahaina, Kaanapali, Honokowai, Kahana, Napili, Kapalua.

The South side includes Wailea, Makena, and Kihei. We are located on the West Side of Maui, facing the Islands of Lanai and Molokai. All of West Maui is only a short drive apart. It only takes 15 - 20 minutes to drive from Lahaina to Kapalua - it's a very small area.

The MAIN AIRPORT on Maui is located at Kahului. The airport code is OGG. All of West Maui is approximately 40 minutes from OGG.

The south end is about a 30 minute drive. The drive to the West Side is breathtaking - so we hope your flight arrives during the day!

There is also a small airport on the West Side (JHM) providing inter-island service with smaller aircraft. JHM airport is very convenient to

the West Side's condo area (along Lower Honoapiilani Road) - but you cannot hear the air traffic because of the flight pattern.

If you couldn't see it on a map, you wouldn't even know it was there. So no worries about that! :-)
